Outreach & Endorsements for Exposition Light Rail

In 2000-2001 we reached out to dozens of organizations and thousands of individuals (over 3,000 petition signatures) throughout the community to educate and inform them of the benefits of this important transit opportunity. We have found overwhelming enthusiasm for the Exposition Light Rail, as evidenced by these formal endorsements and individuals' signatures.

“I support the Expo Line from Santa Monica to downtown L.A.! We need fast, comfortable, exhaust-free, high-capacity light rail as an alternative to traffic and for more-livable communities.”
